Contract: Withinfields & Highbury Junior Schools – 2 Prefabricated Classrooms

This scheme involve the erection of 2nr modular classrooms complete with integrated toilets and cloakrooms located within the existing playgrounds of each school. The scheme was obviously very exposed to the inquisitive nature of the pupils so site safeguarding, security and health and safety were given the highest priority during the contract. Constant liaison was required with the school to coordinate deliveries, arrivals and departure of pupils and the workforce as the schools remain fully operational during the construction phase. The programmes were co-ordinated so the actual installation of the modular units coincided with school holidays along with the breaking into, and connection of the new services to minimise disruption to the schools.

The project was a real success with the end users and client been over the moon with the end results. A great team effort by all.
