Contract: Relocation of Vehicle Preparation Unit – Wakefield

These works were the refurbishment alterations to enable the relocation of the Vehicle Preparation Unit. The project saw the current VPU relocated from Bradford to Wakefield and the enabling alterations to the garage area included, removal of a spray booth and associated mechanical services, making good flooring, alterations to the existing concrete floor slab and reinstatement of voids after the removal of paint spray booth. New mezzanine floor structure over office, including adaptations to existing staircase together with works in the workshop area consisting of metal stud walls and acoustic curtain hung off existing structure.
